PREACHING AT THE 2008 DNC

It’s been a battle of the bullhorns this week in Denver.

From anti-war activists to the Official Street Preachers who spew hateful remarks about gay and lesbians, non-Christians, children, basically anyone who is not a born-again Jesus lover.

A quick trip to the Official Street Preachers Web site indicates the group of bullhorn activists demonstrate most major political events and as well as gay pride parades.

Well the DNC in Denver has come and gone.

What a blessing to proclaim that the next president WILL place their hand or split hoof on George Washingtons KJV Bible.
So we promoted the God of the Bible all over the city.

The Bible exhorts us to PREACH THE WORD and that gives us license to preach on countless issues like:
abortion, sodomy, government execution, what blesses and curses a nation, etc. and not just the death and resurrection of Jesus.

We spent days in Denver making no small stir and almost everywhere we preached we were attacked and arrests were made.

The police gave us much liberty with our God and country message and we moved if asked.

We preached from the morning till past 11PM as the media followed and interviewed us at every location with large crowds gathering around us.

We did not promote any political party but were Ambassadors of the kingdom of God and proclaimed our kings standard for a nation and those that wish to be a citizen. The preach stories are endless as banners were lifted throughout Denver and even one street salvation that was videoed.

A local Baptist Church gave us a place to lay our heads and allowed Lonnie to speak on Sunday.

The Baptist minister even joined us for a day although he had never street preached before.

I have contacted Gerald R. Whitman today, he is the Denver police chief and said if his department is taken to court for hindering free speech during the DNC that I would fly into Denver on my own dime and testify on behalf of the police department.

Free speech was permitted to anyone if you did not go beyond the law or touch anyone.

The city went out of their way to give everyone the opportunity to free speech.

I left my cell phone with the police if needed and was thanked.
